Charity Car Program to Benefit LMBIA

We are very excited and pleased to introduce this program through

A-Part Auto Wrecking Ltd. in Richmond.  The company has been in operation for over 18 years.  In 1988, they were established in Richmond B.C. as an affordable choice for the purchase of used auto parts.  Their mandate was to inventory older unwanted vehicles as well as later model stock to offer customers more choices at a more competitive price.

Lutfia Yousuf, Administrator with the company for the last 2 years, shared with me information on how the program began and how successful it is today.  Lufia is very community conscious and aware of the needs of non-profits.

In 1995 A-Part Auto Wrecking Ltd. joined in partnership with their first charity to start up a car donation program in the Lower Mainland.  They came recommended by the Automotive Retailers Association of B.C. as the recycler best suited for this type of program.  In April 1995, A-Part Auto Wrecking Ltd. Signed a partnership agreement with the Clean Air Foundation to launch the Car Heaven program in B.C., an accelerated vehicle retirement program operation in Vancouver.  In addition to receiving a charitable receipt from the charity of choice, the donor may be eligible for a $1000. off the purchase of a new GM vehicle.

Either way, we hope you’ll make the Lower Mainland Brain Injury Association your charity of choice!

The company has recycled over 12,000 donated vehicles to date, equaling $600,000. and are adding to that number by 100 each month.  At a minimum of $50.each, that adds up for your favourite charity.   It’s a convenient way to deal with your older vehicle and at the same time, benefit your charity.  Towing is free.

How It Works:

1)   You call 604-321-2277 (CARS) and give your information regarding your car.

2)   Wayne, the tow truck driver, will arrange with you a mutually agreeable time

for pick-up or you can drop the car off at A-Part Auto Wrecking Ltd.

3)   Upon Wayne’s arrival, he will accept your vehicle with it’s registration, issue a

receipt of pick-up and have you sign a vehicle transfer of ownership form.

4)      A-Part receives and processes your vehicle, transfers ownership and forward the

proceeds to the charity of your choice.

5)      The charity receives the proceeds from your donation and issues you a tax receipt.

This is where we hope you’ll specify the Lower Mainland Brain Injury Association as your charity of choice!   Contact information below.
