LMBIA operates a drop-in Day program for adults living with the effects of brain injury. The centre provides a variety of social, recreational and educational activities, as well as providing opportunities in the community to increase personal independence and encourage productivity. LMBIA provides a diversification of activities which include building or maintaining social skills, pre-employment skills, life skills, physical and cognitive skills. We offer hot meals twice weekly and an extensive and varied schedule of program activities at our centre. Currently, program activities include:

  • Support Groups
  • Membership Meetings
  • Weekly community outings
  • Fitness groups
  • Pool, crib, ping pong, bingo and trivia tournaments
  • Classes: meal preparation skills, arts and crafts, writing and reading, baking, basic computer, personal wellness
  • Volunteer and Employment Opportunities
  • Participation in public education
  • Weekly sing-a-longs
  • Movie nights
  • Monthly Dances and Birthday celebrations
  • Annual Fundraising Events
  • Annual Tax Clinic
  • Annual Camping Trip
